Elementor is a new tool (but exists already several years) but is more intuitive and offers more options then WP Bakery.** In this case we use the Carbon Capture World webite as the example and we're going to update the Floorplan page. Changing content on an Elementor based site is straightforward and goes as follows. ### **1. Login to the website** Logon to the website ### **2. Create new content and upload** We need two content elements, the first is the new PDF Floorplan file and secondly we want a new image of the Floorplan. So first prepare the PDF file and the image that you want to update. Upload the new PDF Floorplan to the Media Library and copy the URL. Do not upload the Floorplan image yet. ### **3. Page overview** Go to the page overview in WordPress and find the page you want to change, in this example the Floorplan page. You can see **-- Elementor** behind the page name, this indicates that this is page that is created with the Elementor page builder. Hoover over the page and the small menu appears, now choose 'Edit with Elementor' by clicking 'Edit with Elementor' at the right. Modifying the page in Elementor** After clicking the 'Edit with Elementor' option, the Elementor canvas opens. The Elementor canvas consists of two parts. On the left you find a sidebar with many different types of widgets (the blue section in the image below), on the right the actual workspace (the red section in the image below). If you want to add new widgets, just select them from the list on the left and drag them on the page. ![sidebar and canvas](https://kci-support.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/sidebar-and-canvas-1024x459.png) Blue is sidebar, red is canvas workspace In this case we want to replace the Floorplan image and we want to upload a new PDF for the Floorplan button. #### **A. Change the Floorplan image** ![image sidebar](https://kci-support.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/sidebar.png)   Click the Floorplan image on the canvas (red section). On the left the image settings will appear (see image below). On the sidebar on the left you see three tabs, Content, Style and Advanced. In these tabs there are many settings you can change for this specific piece of content, the image. You see on the left in the tab Content, the small Floorplan image. If you put your mouse on the image, a wastebasket appears in the right top corner, click it to delete the image. The **+** sign will appear. Click the plus sign and select the uploaded Floorplan image in step 1. Secondly, we want a link on this image to the PDF file. The last option in the left side bar is Link, it is set to Custom URL and that's ok. Below that you can paste the URL of the PDF you uploaded in step 2. In the left sidebar bottom there's an option to Update the page. Click update to update the page. Now reload the Floorplan page in another window to see if everything is correct.     --- #### **B. We also want to change this link as we have upload e new PDF Floorplan file. First make sure you have copied the URL of the new PDF that you have uploaded in Step 2. On the canvas click the button VIEW FLOORPLAN. On the left the settings of this button will appear. See image. Now paste the link to the newly uploaded PDF Floorplan file in the Link field. In the left sidebar bottom there's an option to Update the page. Click Update and reload the Floorplan page in another window to see if everything is correct. That's it. **Note.** If you need to change the Floorplan on the Hydrogen Tech World Website or the Green Steel World website, the procedure is exactly the same.
