# How to send a Podcast invitation mail

**Riverside.fm offers an option to invite guests to a recording/podcast. The drawback is that such an invitation mail is branded with the Riverside.fm brand. Therefor its better to create a professional KCI brand branded email. We can create branded mails with Stripo.email, the tool we use inside KCI to create email templates.**

In Stripo.email is a special folder created with the name Podcast, there's a sample email template that you can use in Outlook. Follow these steps to create the template, download the template and open it in Outlook.

1. Login to Riverside, start or schedule a recording
2. Copy the invitation link
3. Login to Stripo.email
4. Go to the folder "Podcasts"
5. Open the template
6. Go to the button "Join" and click the button
7. Paste the link from Riverside in the link section on the right
8. If needed, make other changes to the email like hostname, date/time, duration and Studio Name
9. Click the "Export" button at the top of the screen
10. Choose the tab "Application"
11. Click "Outlook App"
12. Click "**OFT** file for Windows"
13. Save the file to your computer
14. Doubleclick the downloaded file
15. Now the template should open in a new email
16. Add email addresses you want to invite and send your email

**Note**: An **OFT** file is a Microsoft **Outlook File Template** used for creating reusable email templates within the Outlook email client. These files store the content, formatting, and layout of an email message--including text, images, attachments, and branding elements
